The SEGD Provides Sales Leads for RMX Partners

By Steven Strooh

The Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) is a professional organization that connects designers, fabricators, and installers of environmental graphics in a collaborative context. With a community of over 2,200 members from 36 countries who gather locally in 47 chapters, SEGD is a valuable resource for businesses that want to grow their sales leads.

A few RMX Network partners are members of SEGD, including Duncan Parnell’s @Garrett Shank, who has just become co-chair of the Charleston, SC chapter. Garrett says their participation in this collaborative environment has helped generate many profitable relationships with their design clients and other fabricators (graphic product producers.) Other partners I know of are BarkerBlue and Cushing, but I am sure there are many more. Duncan Parnell just hosted their first chapter meeting, which also adds to their credibility with these design professionals.

There are many ways that membership and participation in SEGD can help RMX Network partners generate new business. Here are just a few examples:

  • Access to a large network of potential clients. SEGD members include architects, interior designers, corporate marketing professionals, facility managers, and other decision-makers who are responsible for commissioning environmental graphics projects. By becoming an SEGD member, you can gain access to this valuable network and start building relationships with potential clients.
  • SEGD membership gives you access to educational resources that can help you learn more about the latest trends in the environmental and experiential graphics industry. They also offer a variety of educational programs, including conferences, webinars, and online courses. These programs can help you stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies, and they can also help you learn new skills that can make you more marketable to potential clients.

This week's event in Los Angeles, organized by Cybelle JonesNadia Adona, and Jennette Foreman, will enable networking with other professionals and meeting potential clients and partners. It will also help you build relationships with other fabricators.

SEGD Wayfinding and Placemaking Symposium

April 27 and 28, Los Angeles

  • Opportunities to showcase your work. SEGD hosts various events throughout the year, including conferences, exhibitions, and awards programs. These events give you the perfect opportunity to showcase your work to a large audience of potential clients.
  • Access to industry resources and information. With a smorgasbord of resources and information, SEGD can help you grow your business. These resources include industry news, trends, and best practices.
  • Discounts on SEGD products and services. Members receive discounts on a variety of products and services, including SEGD publications, conference registration, and awards program entry fees.

As you grow your décor, environmental, and experiential graphics business, I encourage you to consider joining the SEGD. Membership and participation in SEGD can help you generate new sales leads, grow your business, and stay ahead of the competition.

Here are some additional benefits of membership and participation in the SEGD:

  • Increased brand awareness. When you become an SEGD member, you'll be listed in their directory and website. This gives you the opportunity to increase your brand awareness and reach a wider audience of potential clients.
  • Enhanced credibility. SEGD is a respected organization representing the highest standards of excellence in environmental graphics. By becoming a member, you can enhance your credibility and build trust with potential clients.
  • Opportunities for professional development. SEGD offers a variety of professional development opportunities, including webinars, workshops, and online courses. These opportunities can help you stay up to date on the latest trends in environmental graphics and improve your skills and knowledge.

If you're looking for ways to grow your business and generate new sales leads, I encourage you to consider joining SEGD. Membership and especially participation in your local chapter can help you achieve your sales goals.
